GUBAHÁMORI is an architecture and urban design studio focusing on the correlation between natural and built environment.
They usually integrate other experts in their works from different scientific fields (illustrators, visual artists, ecologists, urban development professionals).
They started an art co-working network and space with other architects, product designers, critics in Budapest, called The Palm.
GUBAHÁMORI is selected among the best U35 architecture practices in Hungary in 2015.
Sándor Guba (1984, Hungary) is founding partner of GUBAHÁMORI.
He holds a Master of Architecture from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics was visiting professor at the Department of Urban Design, and is currently a PhD Candidate at the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design Budapest.
Sándor worked at Atelier Patrick Candlot in Angers, at Budapest based PLANT - Atelier Peter Kis and Vienna based querkraft architekten prior to founding GUBAHÁMORI.
Péter Hámori (1985, Hungary) is founding partner of GUBAHÁMORI.
He holds a Master of Architecture from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and a Master of Engineering from the Tokyo Institue of Technology.
Péter worked at SANAA (Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa) in Tokyo and at Budapest based PLANT - Atelier Peter Kis and Tokyo based Makoto Yamaguchi Design prior to founding GUBAHÁMORI.
